Chattahoochee Fish Hatchery

Situated approximately 75 miles north of Atlanta, this hatchery produces about a million trout each year, enriching Georgia's waters for anglers and trout enthusiasts to enjoy. The hatchery, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service, is nestled within the Chattahoochee National Forest. Trails to the fishing spots are flat and accessible by wheelchair. ADA restrooms are available as well.

Located about 21 miles from Ellijay on Highway 52, the West Ridge Falls Access Trail offers unforgettable views of the 729-foot Amicalola Falls, the tallest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River. The accessible trail leads to the falls, halfway up the majestic descent. Wheelchair users and those with walkers will find the gentle slope accommodating, and the trail features paved surfaces for even footing. Anna Ruby Falls-Lions Eye Trail

Lions Eye Trail - Venture into the heart of nature along this paved 0.01-mile trail designed for the visually impaired. Interpretive signs, including braille, offer an enriching experience for all visitors.
Anna Ruby Falls - The 0.9 mile out and back hiking trail to the twin waterfalls is paved with benches along the trail.

Dukes Creek Falls

Hefner River Park
