Overview
Rivers Alive Toccoa River clean-up .... followed by a hot lunch!
RIVERS ALIVE is Georgia's annual volunteer waterway cleanup event that targets all waterways in the state, including streams, rivers, lakes, beaches, and wetlands.
The mission of Rivers Alive is to create awareness of and involvement in the preservation of Georgia's water resources. Rivers Alive is held annually each fall and is a Georgia Environmental Protection Division Outreach Program project.
Ages: All ages/organizations are invited to meet at Tammen Park in Blue Ridge, GA (CLICK FOR DIRECTIONS)
Meeting Location: Tammen Park
Volunteers are asked to meet at Tammen Park at 8:30 AM and the program director will give everyone a brief overview and guide everyone on where to go. Volunteers are asked to meet back at Tammen Park for lunch and t-shirt pass out!
