Opening Reception for the 2025 Community Quilt & Fiber Arts Exhibition~ The Art Center

The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association invites you to an Opening Reception for the 2025 Community Quilt and Fiber Arts Exhibition on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM!

This exhibition presents a stunning collection of quilts and fiber art crafted by both local and regional artists.
Visitors can explore a diverse array of styles, including whole-cloth quilts, which highlight the beauty of the fabric itself, and intricate crazy quilts, characterized by their unique, asymmetrical patterns and embellishments.
Additionally, the exhibit features memory quilts that tell personal stories through carefully chosen fabrics and photographs, as well as contemporary art quilts that push the boundaries of traditional quilting techniques and aesthetics.

Each piece not only showcases the artists' creativity and skill but also invites viewers to appreciate the rich cultural and emotional narratives woven into every thread.
The Opening Reception is free and open to the public, featuring light hors d'oeuvres, a wine bar, beautiful artwork, and more!
