Get ready to push your limits and navigate the rugged terrain of the Blue Ridge Mountains in America's longest-running adventure race.
On May 3-4, 2025 at the Downtown Pavilion, located at 900 E. Main St. in Downtown Blue Ridge, the adventure spans a duration of 8 and 24 hours - 2 options this year for the ultimate challenge in the great outdoors! Race day begins with check-in opening at 7:00 am for the 24-hour race and 7:30 am for the 8-hour race. Participants will receive instructions and a pre-plotted map, followed by a pre-race meeting at 8:15 am. Both races kick off promptly at 9:00 am.

As you explore the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains, bike through winding trails, and paddle across scenic waters, it's important to stay fueled and hydrated. There will be snacks and water available at checkpoints along the way.
Although food and drinks will be served at every TA, it's recommended to also bring water purification tablets. Prepare for the race by reviewing the gear list on the official website of the Adventure Race. Essential gear includes a backpack, compass, first aid kit, and whistle. It's also suggested to wear appropriate layers for your activities. However, equipment and layering may vary depending on your selection of races.
